Claimable ticket terms
These terms cover the claimable links on our board — seats bought on Quin Tickets accounts and handed over to you. They are separate from the terms for a ticket request.
What this service is
The claimable board is its own service, separate from the request pipeline. The seats on it were bought by the team on our own seller accounts, and they are offered with the seller’s checkout still open. Claim one, pay for the tickets yourself, settle our service fee, and the account behind the seats is handed over to you.
Claiming a link
One client per link. A claim holds the link for you alone and takes it off everyone else’s board. Claiming costs you nothing and takes no payment — the ticket price is paid to the seller, not to us.
Paying for the tickets
You pay the seller at face value, on the checkout the link carries, with your own card. We never take the ticket price and never handle your card. The checkout and its deadline belong to the seller: if it lapses before you have paid, the claim is released and the link goes back to the board, and we cannot extend the seller’s deadline.
Our service fee
A fixed fee for every seat on the link, shown on the link before you claim it. It is separate from the ticket price, it is what pays for the seats being bought and held on our own account, and it is what releases that account to you.
Settling the fee
After you have checked out with the seller, you send your receipt through your claim; the team checks it and confirms it. Until it is confirmed the account is not released, and the seats stay with us.
The account you are handed
The seats sit on a Quin Tickets account, not one in your name. That is the point of the handover: once your fee is confirmed, that account’s sign-in is handed to you, and the tickets in it are yours to use.
Looking after the account
The account stays ours. Do not change its email, password or any other details, and do not use it for anything beyond these seats. An account lost, locked or emptied because its details were changed is not something we can undo.
Physical tickets
Where the seller issues physical tickets rather than an e-ticket, they are still collected from the seller’s own outlet, even though the account is not in your name. On an SM Tickets link that means the SM booth.
If we release a claim
We may release a claim and put the link back on the board, or take a link down, if the checkout lapses, the fee is not settled, or the seats change. No service fee is due on a link that was never handed over to you.
If the event is cancelled or moved
A refund on the ticket is issued by the seller under their own policy; we will point you to the right process, but the refund comes from them. Our service fee is not refunded once the account has been handed over, since the seats were already bought and released to you.
Passing the seats on
Once the account has been handed over, the seats are yours to use or to pass on as you see fit. If you do sell them on to somebody else, that arrangement is between you and your buyer — we stand behind nothing beyond the handover itself: not the price you agree, not the buyer’s side of it, and not anything that follows once the seats have left our hands. Changing the account’s details and reversing a settled service fee stay the two things we cannot allow.
